It was not your creativity. That iPhone 6 Plus you bought that seemed to produce unusually unclear pictures may have been faulty, and now Apple organization is offering to substitute the returning digicam in the product.
Apple's new iSight digicam alternative system includes iPhone 6 Plus devices bought between Sept 2014 and Jan 2015 and, according to the organization, details a problem that affected only some iPhones.
The organization has set up a special alternative system website that allows you to simply connect your iPhone's sequential variety into a search field to find out if it's eligible for the free iSight returning digicam alternative. The problem is related to a component in the iSight digicam that could don't succeed, possibly leading to unclear images.
However, it's worth noting that just because your unit's sequential variety suits the approved alternative list, that does not instantly mean that your iPhone's returning digicam is faulty.
But once you validate that your digicam does need a fix, there is a catch that may trip up some consumers: the condition of the rest of the product. If your iPhone 6 Plus has a damaged screen, the system requires that you get that fixed first, because such damage will affect the digicam alternative, according to Apple organization.
Additionally, the system alerts that, based on the state of your device, there could be a "cost associated with the fix." And, if you don't frantically check for Apple organization up-dates, like some of us, thankfully that the system will remain available for up to three years after your system was bought.
But keep in mind, compared with some iPhone alternative programs, this one will only substitute the iSight returning digicam, not the entire system.
Some users have been confirming unclear pictures using the iPhone 6 Plus returning digicam since Oct. And a look on Apple organization user boards and even on YouTube shows a variety of iPhone 6 Plus entrepreneurs displaying off the digital camera's unclear pictures as well as curly, altered video.
So while the fix will be a welcome upgrade for some, the fact that the fix system comes after some have resided with the problem for almost a year, just weeks before the discharge of the next iPhone, will likely result in at least a few noisy problems from iPhone 6 Plus entrepreneurs.
