AKG is one of my preferred headsets producers because they never dissatisfy us with their items. I got my AKG K545 for several decades and it was probably the most heavily-used headsets in my selection.
The AKG K553 Pro was launched a few months ago and it is the newest modification to the K550 variety. I purchased this when it was on selling and it is even less expensive than my old AKG headsets.
Design & Features
I was a little amazed when unboxing the AKG K553 Pro headsets. While most other producers consist of wires and holding pocket, you can see that there are just the headsets and customer guides within the box.
The headsets come with a 6.3mm adaptor attached on the 3.5mm connect. The other end of the wire is set to the headsets. This might be a large drawback to many prospective clients, but this is not a big problem for me because I’ve never had to substitute my earphone wires.
The K553 Pro is obviously made for studio space or enjoyment because the wire is very lengthy and there is no bag within the box. Although the earcups can be collapsed smooth, the headsets are still quite big for convenient use.
The AKG headsets have the same over-ear style as types. We still have a mixture of smooth dark and metal accessories throughout the scarf and earcups. The style is not really attractive but still delivers a contemporary and top excellent quality sensation.
The earcups are large and I believe quite relaxed dressed in the headsets for time. The earpads can be a little wider but they are good for 1 time of hearing. You don’t need to look for substitute earpads in my viewpoint.
Audio Quality
The AKG K553 Pro is said to give a high-end songs encounter at an entry-level cost. The declaration is very accurate.
The audio excellent quality is on par with many $200 or even $300 headsets. I examined the AKG headsets with different songs styles and was quite enthusiastic about the promotions. The audio is a little relaxed with a minor fish increase, however, the fish is not frustrating and definitely not something for bassheads.
I don’t have the problem of highs raise like many clients of K500 variety described, so I think AKG handled to fix it. The highs is very obvious and pleasant, although it might not be as shiny as some other headsets.
The mid-range wavelengths are not recessed and provided perfectly. Those are the factors why why my hearing don’t get exhausted after an time of songs hearing.
The 50mm motorists also generate such an amazing soundstage for closed-back headsets. The radio stations system picture is not as obvious and divided as on open-back headsets but I still can listen to equipment being performed from different places.
Conclusion
Pros
Premium style and comfort
Great sound
Low price
Cons
Irreplaceable cable
The AKG K553 is irresistible at the cost variety. There is some space for developments but I’m still enthusiastic about the headsets. I’d suggest the item, especially when it goes on selling.
